to follow along with you can find the Video
*****Note****
We are using SCANT Quarter inch seam allowance throughout the pattern
1.First, we are going to create our Flying Geese units (FG)
You will be creating this with 2 dark maroon and one white triangle.
Reduce your stitch length to 2.0 or lower to what. You take one of your Dark Maroon
triangles and your white triangle and one of the shorts sides
line up your triangles right side together. The, sew a quarter inch seam allowance
Note** your Drk maroon triangle will be slight longer than your white triangle on one. The repeat for the opposite side of the white triangle
once you have done this you will have completed one flying geese unit.
you will repeat this till you have 16 units in total.
2. Now that you have completed your 16 flying geese units
we now make them into a block of of 4 geese as shown in the video
you can find that HERE
3. Next, we are going to join our rows together, but this time we are going to do these
a little different. You will need to join our rows on the diagonal and there will be 3 in total.
See pics below, You can also see this being done a lot clearer via a Supplementary video
and you can find that HERE
4. Now that you have completed your rows you are now ready to sew your rows together
sewing row one to row 2 and then row 3 to this.
5. You will notice that your block is no square, to make your block square you will have
to take your remain 4 white triangles and attach them to the block, you see this being done below . repeat with the remaining corners, Press
