Love a good Aussie Quilt # 48

Today we are we have been working on
Margaret's quilt

just a little table topper she called it
I think not...its more than just a little table topper

it her first masterpiece
I love the Australian themed flora
on this one...they consist of wattles and
Warratars (a native Flower) and gum leaves all in
reds browns and greens with a hint of gold
the fabrics are very
vibrant but subtle at the same time
if I am making any sense and all

today we used a Mocha variegated thread
with a large all over quilting pattern
called "Chantilly"
and before anyone say that the quilt is crooked
don't worry i was just laying it out and getting
ready to load it in the machine ")

after Margaret picked up her quilt
she was delighted with the way it finished up

she was one very happy customer
she even purchased a Jelly Roll
as she was inspired by the quilt i was working on
in our Mystery Quilt Club that
meets every Thursday night

I can't wait to see her creation :)

anyway I better scoot and get cracking on the
next quilt in the que

happy Quilting ") N
